HEY GUYS, this is my official open RP post. If you know a muse of mine, and want to thread, for something new or old time's sake, just comment to this post with either a starter or just requesting a character, and I'll reply with said character.

[ riku calls from inside the kitchen. this pause from fighting is a strange one, and riku's not wholly used to not fighting... but he can't do much. everyone has to get better physically. terra, aqua, ven--they've been neglected for decades, and the darkness has permeated their consciousnesses and their bodies. roxas and xion? they have to learn to function as wholly separate entities. it's a good thing, but no doubt it takes a strain.

and although sora has been much more hands-on with roxas and xion, he can't be around all the time. so it falls to riku, who's mostly been taking care of terra, to lend a helping hand.

at least it's not as awkward as it used to be a few weeks ago.

still, riku's staying away from roxas and is cooking stir fry in the kitchen while roxas is supposed to be in the living room. supposed to be. in truth, riku's not sure where the blond has gone off to... ]

[Roxas doesn't respond. He knows damn well where he's supposed to be right now, waiting for his food like a good boy, but he's too stir-crazy. This whole "train until you drop one day and rest the next while Xion gets the individual attention" thing is too stop-and-go for him. He's restless if he gets even more than a few hours to himself.]

[At the moment, Roxas is hiding up on the roof. It's better than being down on the ground, where everything towers over him.]

[ it'd be nice if his master title meant everyone actually listened to him. riku sighs heavily to himself as he puts everything to the side and turns off the burner, turning to see if roxas has headphones on, or if he's fallen asleep--

aaaaand he's not even there. great. looking around, he frowns and closes his eyes.

... on the roof? seriously? ]

Guess old habits are hard to break. [ he mutters, as he moves over into the hallway. he pulls on the string attached to a door leading up into the attic, climbing up the wooden stairs that slide down. it takes a bit of finagling to get onto the roof this way, but it's the way riku's always done it. ]

Guess you're not hungry. [ he notes, as he stands, a ways behind roxas. ]
